F38 NDB

The F38 ND is a mechanical automatic watch for those who prefer understatement to a loud dial show. Inside, a Japanese Seiko NH38 movement is at work: a true no-date caliber with 24 jewels, 21,600 vibrations per hour, manual winding, hacking seconds, and a 41-hour power reserve. Factory accuracy is rated at -20/+40 seconds per day. We regulate every watch by hand before shipping to achieve -0/+15 seconds.

The 38 mm stainless steel case is brushed and features a polished chamfer that catches the light on the wrist. The dial is matte black for maximum contrast, with indices and numerals standing out clearly in white. Domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside protects the dial, and the large 7.5 mm crown can be operated securely even when wearing gloves.

Water-resistant to 100 meters and mounted on a canvas NATO strap: just as at home at a desk as it is in the field. No date window, no bells and whistles. Just precise mechanics and honest design.

Hands, numerals, and 5-minute indices are coated with luminous material: green for the hands, blue for the numerals and indices (W4). The color difference makes the position of the hands recognizable at a glance in the dark.

Why this watch?

Deliberately reduced: no date magnifier, no scales, no cluttered dial. Every element has a function. The case proportions, hands, numerals, and finish are designed so that the watch still looks calm and natural even after years.
